Armstrong McCall is the marketer and distributor of top-of-the-line professional beauty supplies and salon furniture. Located across the United States Sun Belt and Mexico, our network of locally owned and operated beauty supply franchises offers full-service distribution to licensed professionals in the salon and spa industry. We sell wholesale directly to salons, stylists, nail technicians, estheticians and massage therapists and not to the general public. Armstrong McCall’s corporate headquarters is located in Austin, Texas. Armstrong McCall has a long and rich history in the professional beauty industry. The company was originally founded in 1939 by Dean McCall who first went to work for the Rossler Company as a salesman, calling on barbershops. He joined with Bob Armstrong, another Rossler salesman, to formulate their dream of creating their own beauty supply distributorship in Corpus Christi, Texas. Following World War II, the Company relocated to Austin, Texas, where its headquarters remain today. By the mid-1960s, Dean McCall decided to sell the company-owned stores to independent distributors so that he could concentrate his efforts on the Central Support Center. This was a landmark decision and the beginning of the Armstrong McCall franchise system. From these beginnings, Armstrong McCall has grown to over 170 stores in the US Sunbelt and Mexico. Together with our affiliate, Beauty Systems Group LCC, a recognized national leader in the professional beauty supply industry, Armstrong McCall is a recognized force in supplying beauty salons and professionals with quality products and equipment.
