About
T he Hornell Area Wind Ensemble wasformed in 1986 to provide an outlet for adult musicians to express theirmusical talent and also to provide live concert band music to thesurrounding community. The group currently consists of an average of fiftymusicians ranging in age from late teens to retirees. Although some membersare current or former music educators, most others are from fields such ashealth care, education, aviation, banking, and civil service. Theyrepresent a well-rounded community group.
