Stone Wall Stables is a brand new facility that offers horseback riding lessons, training, birthday parties, summer camp, boarding and cabin rentals. We strive to be a family farm specializing in a friendly relaxed atmosphere.   We are located only 20 minutes from Bangor on Parks Pond in Clifton, Maine.  The facility sits on the waterfront, overlooking the picturesque view of parks pond bluff. We have a newly constructed 40x60, three story, post and beam barn with seven 14x12 stalls.   We have a very spacious tack room with individual lockers. There is heated grain room, lunch room, and viewing room plus a large area that is heated for storage.  At Stone Wall Stables we offer large grass pastures that are rotational. We have a large outdoor riding arena and miles and miles of trails which take over thousands of acres some of which include- Hopkins Pond, Springy Pond, chick hill, Chemo pond, Leonard’s mills and the University of Maine experimental forest, etc. We are located in the ideal location, 20 minutes from Bangor, 1 hour from Acadia National Park, walking or boating distance to a golf course and a general store which has ice cream!   From our facility there are many different areas for rock climbing, hiking, biking, fishing and swimming.
