Located in Fairfax, Virginia, Blue Cross Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital providing laser surgery, dental care, laboratory, microchipping and tattooing, x-ray, grooming and boarding services. Our staff feels that every animal brought to us, regardless of breeding, is owned by a compassionate and concerned individual who desires the ultimate in animal care and treatment. To this end we dedicate our services and facilities to give each patient the same consideration we would expect for members of our own family. Each veterinarian and team member is deeply committed to the health and well-being of your pet. We love animals as much as you do! Blue Cross Animal Hospital has been serving the local community since 1952 and has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association since 1959. To maintain our accreditation, we must meet stringent requirements in all areas - animal care, surgery, laboratory, x-ray, recordkeeping, and hospital appearance and cleanliness. We participate in the Fairfax County Animal Shelter adoption program and the Animal Welfare League of Arlington Spay/Neuter Adoption program. We also participate with GRREAT's (Golden Retriever Rescue Education and Training) adoption program. We are proud to have been a sponsor for several years of the Fairfax County Pets on Wheels annual Paws for a Cause Walk.
