Andalusia, Illinois, is a town of about 1100 people. Not much there. Not very promising place to find an incredible diner, but this is the real deal. EXCELLENT home cooking, VERY friendly service. It was like eating in somebody's kitchen. Fried chicken, chicken fried steak, real mashed potatoes and gravy, to die for. If you're ever anywhere nearby, stop in and enjoy. We live 250 miles away, and if we ever get within 50 miles of this place, we would go out of their way to eat there again. Really, really good.
