Preferred Child and Family Services Inc. was established in 2002 by Dr. Eric F. Jones and Jason Beard M.A. They opened two offices, one in Rupert that later moved to Burley, and the main office in Twin Falls. 2005 would prove to be a great year for the business. The Burley branch moved to a larger facility, the Twin Falls branch purchased a new building, and services were expanded to a new office in Hailey! Today Preferred Child and Family Services, Inc. is now a full service mental health clinic. There are both male and female counselors on board that help children, adolescents, adults, and families. The counselors specialize in play therapy, trauma and grief work, relationship issues, and a wide variety of mental health issues.
