You should see the hills from here! Custer / Mt. Rushmore KOA is your central location for seeing all of the Black Hills. This KOA is in the middle of all five major attractions: Mount Rushmore (22 miles north), Crazy Horse Memorial (8 miles north), Jewel Cave National Monument (10 miles west), Wind Cave National Park (22 miles south) and Custer State Park (6 miles east). KOA can arrange tours with a local company that picks you up at your site. Downtown Custer has great restaurants and shopping. After a day of sightseeing, unwind at the tranquil campground, just 3 miles west of Custer. Kids will love the game room and playground. They will also enjoy the Jumping Pillow (extra charge). Seasonal activities (Memorial Day to Labor Day) include chuckwagon breakfasts, games and a heated pool (weather permitting). This KOA offers pull thru sites, Camping Cabins and tent sites. Rates are higher June 29 through July 7 and August 3 through August 11.
