I recently got shingles, and my doctor gave me zovorex, and I hate taking antibiotics ( I think that's what it is). I decided to see an acupuncturist, and I'm glad I did, because the shingles didn't spread or itch, no pain, and got better, not worse! Cindy Albon at Wellsteam Acupuncture used acupuncture, and an herbal liquid to apply to the shingles, and did this 'tapping' with needles, which kind of pricked a bit, but, heh, it worked!
