In 1911, a young man named Winn Brown opened his first shoe store in Shendoah, Iowa. Now, three generations later Brown's Shoe Fit Company is still offering service and selection to shoe buying customers in California, South Dakota, Colorado and Oregon. Brown's operates eight shoe stores and one men's clothing store. Our emphasis is to offer the latest in fashion and function from the finest shoe makers throughout the world. At Brown's you'll see all the name brands you know, and many more. All stores are located in downtown areas and offer that "hometown" customer service not experienced in large chain stores. Each Brown's Shoe Fit Company store is operated by a manager who is also a partner in his store. Partner/Managers are active members of their communities.
