Sunflower Montessori School (SMS) is an authentic, quality school for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years old. Located in Littleton, Colorado, our program follows the method designed by Maria Montessori and strives to provide warm and inviting environments which encourage learning through sensorial exploration, freedom of movement, independence, and practical life activities. At Sunflower Montessori School we are committed to providing an educational environment that is supportive of the unique spirit of each child and encourages the child to grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically at his or her own pace. We are a year-round school with the academic year ending in May. The summer months expand into an exploration program full of fun themes, field trips, and continued learning
