Classical Guitar: -Training in all aspects of proper classical guitar skills. -Repertoire interpretation and expression. -Develop sight-reading abilities and fretboard visualization. -Guitar theory. Flamenco Guitar: -Instruction in authentic Flamenco guitar playing techniques. -Learn all Rasgueados (Flamenco Strumming) styles. -Rigorous training in all Flamenco Rhythms (Compas) and Flamenco "songs" (Palos) Instruction can include Classical and Flamenco guitar tablature notation and the use of PC tablature software. Accomplished Teacher of Classical and Flamenco Guitar, over 30 years teaching experience . Classically trained musician since early childhood, began playing the Guitar at the age of 8, playing Flamenco guitar since college, also attended master classes at the Julliard School of Music. Studies in classical plucked instruments also include; Renaissance Lute, Vihuela and Baroque Guitar. My rate is $35 an hour for beginner to intermediate with no contracts. Lessons given in the comfort of your home on Staten Island. Lessons tailored to the level and needs of each individual. At no additional cost; I supply all related sheet music and learning literature as part of the fee. Lessons are always in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
