However, there are various insurance products available to help cover those expenses that Medicare does not pay. When sitting with an agent, one of the first questions you should ask that agent is, "How many company product lines do you represent?" This is an important question to ask because there are many different versions of insurance plans available. If you are meeting with an agent that just sets up a booth during the Open Enrollment time of year and then dissappears for the rest of the year, you are dealing with an agent that is restricted to only discussing with you their one company line of product. This is not to say that this is a bad company or product, but that there are more options available to you than just this one product line. As an independent agent I am not restricted to just one product line. I can discuss with you ALL your options so that you can be confident you have made the right decision for your insurance needs.
