Fred Murray, a lifelong mid-coastal resident, with over 20 years of experience in the construction and landscaping field, established Murray's Grounds keeping, Inc. in the spring of 1985. Fred hired John Drake, the current owner, in the spring of 1987. John excelled at each task and responsibility he was given. He progressed from his position as a laborer, to a crew leader, to a supervisor and then to the general manager's position.
