John Wood Insurance was founded in 1891. A man named Ross Wise traded all of his interest in Ohio Farmers Insurance Company to John Wood for a horse and buggy. In fact, we still have the original contract on display in our office. Over the years, John Wood Insurance has grown through writing new business in addition to acquiring agencies in the area.
