The mission of the Business Development Board (BDB) is to stimulate economic energy, promote business diversity and enrich the vitality of Palm Beach County through the relocation, retention and expansion of companies to our area. Department Missions: Business Recruitment - Enhance the success of Palm Beach County's cluster industry-based economy by attracting new businesses. Business Retention & Expansion - Enhance the success of Palm Beach County's industry by assisting with the retention and expansion of local companies. Membership Events - Build and sustain funds sufficient to support the Business Development Board's economic development programs. Membership Development - To raise private revenue through new and renewing memberships. Marketing - Manage programs that build public awareness of the BDB and strengthen the image of Palm Beach County as a business location. Information Services - Provide necessary computer services to support the mission of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County. Research - Provide necessary research and analysis to support the mission of the Business Development Board.
