I am a man of many hats but I did not know there was more than one Sombrero until I met with Aracely Gonzalez. This place first opened in 1968 on Montezuma and El Cajon Boulevard, and opened in South Park in 1984. Gonzalez purchased the Sombrero Mexican Food restaurant in South Park from her parents in 2010 and began reinvesting in the interior and the presentation of fare.
