Bothun Insurance Agency is a family-owned business with initial operations going back to 1980 in Brookings, SD. Martie Bothun is a second generation Farmers Insurance Group® agent. In 2001 Bothun Insurance acquired an agency in Pierre, SD with an additional acquisition in 2012 of Martie’s family agency in Brookings, SD. We provide insurance to our existing clients and work with prospective clients throughout the eight states we are licensed in.
