We took our 7 year old border collie in on Sunday morning because she chewed her stitches open from a surgery 3 days earlier. It left a huge gapping wound. We cinched it up tightly with a towel, but still it was bleeding through. We drove to this Emergency Care Clinic to get the wound cleaned and restitched. When we arrived, we were immediately shown to an examing room. The vet tech that came to help us absolutely reeked of alcohol. I looked at my husband and couldn't believe it. I am not being hateful or bashing...it is the truth!! That young man was drunk! I was stunned.
