This is the most radically dysfunctional and toxic church I have ever seen in my entire ministry. Last year, this church invited my family and I to pastoral candidate. It was not easy flying from Chicago to Seattle and then from there to Idaho all with three babies and early hours in the morning. We were there for a week. We then get told by the leadership the day before we head home, "We don't think we can afford to pay your salary."
