Dr. Moncada has dedicated her practice to the diagnosis and treatment of various Head and Neck Disorders since 1993. She is highly trained and has great expertise in the evaluation and treatment of TMJ Disorders, Orofacial Pain, Headache and Sleep Apnea. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain (Board Certified). She completed a post-doctoral Fellowship in Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction in conjunction with a Master’s Degree in Oral Biology in 1993 and a Sleep Medicine Residency Program in 2012 at the UCLA School of Dentistry. The goal of her training was to bridge the gap between medicine and dentistry when evaluating and treating head and neck conditions. The key to providing appropriate care is an accurate diagnosis. As is common with many complex and chronic conditions, there may be multiple underlying conditions with which to contend. Dr. Moncada is prepared to do a comprehensive evaluation and include other specialists.
