Education & Background Attorney Richards began his collegiate career at Lake Forest College, located in Lake Forest, Illinois. He graduated as a Presidential Scholar in 2004 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and French. From there, Mr.Richards attended law school at the Whittier School of Law, located in Costa Mesa, California. After serving as a student ambassador for the Admissions Department, leading the Older Wiser Law Students (O.W.L.S.) as group president, and being named as the Hagman Scholar of Land Use Law, Joseph graduated with a Juris Doctor in 2011. Mr. Richards has experience with both Riverside and Orange Counties as a certified Clerk to the District Attorney, focusing his prosecutorial efforts on misdemeanors, writs and appeals, and major fraud cases. From there, Mr. Richards held a variety of positions in private practice, focusing almost exclusively on workers' compensation defense and applicant representation. He hung out his own shingle in June 2014.
