The Luthier’s WorkShop is a Wisconsin destination for Guitar Repairs, and all types of Banjos, Ukuleles and Mandolins. We sell guitars and offer guitar lessons. The term Luthier stems from the French word luth, which means "lute"…. an old-world name for Lute Maker. The craft of making string instruments, or lutherie, is commonly divided into two main categories: makers of stringed instruments that are plucked or strummed and makers of stringed instruments that are bowed. At the Luthier’s WorkShop, we repair the plucked or strummed stringed instruments.
