Folk Wiedmayer-Uckele Insurance, is your local family owned and operated insurance agency serving Saline, Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas of Washtenaw, Lenawee and Monroe counties. We are licensed in Michigan and Ohio. We have memberships in the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce, MAIA, IIABA, and NFIB. We are an independent insurance agency, which means we represent many different companies where we can shop the best rates for you. Norman Wiedmayer started the agency in the early 1940’s, beginning the family owned business in his home in Saline, Michigan. Our agency remains a part of the local business community today. Mr. Wiedmayer retired in 1981 at which time Wayne Uckele bought the agency and moved the business to 213 E Michigan Ave, creating the Wiedmayer-Uckele Insurance Agency. In 1995, Jeff Folk took ownership of the business, bringing with him years of experience and knowledge of the insurance industry, as well as an understanding that customer service is the cornerstone of a successful business. In February 2013, we moved the business to its current location, 208 E Michigan Ave, just across the street from our previous home.
