At Pioneer Gymnastics Academy, we believe that gymnastics will offer the child benefits in the following areas: Strength, Flexibility, Coordination, Dexterity, Discipline, Confidence and Self Esteem. Gymnastics is the core of all athletic movement. The skills and techniques our students learn will greatly enhance their performance in all athletic endeavors. Many of our students have been awarded NCAA scholarships in a variety of sports including diving, soccer, softball, track and cheerleading as well as for academics. They and their parents will all attest that their years of gymnastics training gave them the tools they needed to be successful in their pursuit of collegiate excellence. Pioneer Gymnastics Academy offers a full range of gymnastics instruction for children of all ages and ability levels. Our youngest gymnasts start at a mere 18 months of age while our oldest gymnasts are training through their high school years. Although the great majority of our gymnasts are recreational, we also have one of the top competitive programs in the state. We are proud to be home to local, state and regional and national champions. Our Mission Statement Our GOAL at Pioneer Gymnastics Academy is to TEACH children of all ages and ability levels the sport of gymnastics in a SAFE, ENERGETIC and FUN environment. we believe that the best way to teach and encourage young athletes is by positive reinforcement balanced with structure and discipline to ensure everyone's safety. We also recognize that each child is a unique individual and should be taught in a manner that is most conducive to their learning and skill ability Our Facility Located on 2.5 acres of residential property, Pioneer Gymnastics Academy offers the added safety and convenience of being in its own building away from other businesses, thereby limiting our students exposure to strangers as well as non customer traffic in our parking lot. Pioneer Gymnastics Academy offers over 8,000 square feet of air-conditioned gymnastics fun. We are also unique in that we have a large pre-school facility within our building as well as two enclosed viewing rooms. Our pre-school gym is equipped with all the modern equipment designed especially for pre-school aged children. All of our apparatus is scaled down to meet the unique size limititations of our youngest students. Within our pre-school gym you will find balance beams, uneven bars, still rings, a variety of tumbling appparatus, a colorful foam pit, an in-ground trampoline and much more. Our main training facility houses all of the Olympic apparatus for boys and girls gymnastics as well as a large in-ground training pit for learning more advanced skills and a 30' long tumble tramp to make learning tumbling easier and more fun. We also utilize a large assortment of skill shapes, training aides and conditioning stations to help safely build strong athletes.
