I personally have adopted a few animals over the years from the highland county humane society animal shelter, and i have to say they have always been very helpfull and very kind. One time i was looking for a certain color kitten and they took my phone number and called me a couple weeks later and told me they had one, I still have the cat and she is part of our family.
