I came in for an alternator for my Celica, but the howling I'd been trying to ignore coming from the power steering pump told me I'd better have them take a look at that too. They quoted me a very fair price for the alternator job, which was for a factory-quality Denso unit, not a dirt-floor made poor quality substitute, which would be worth this review by itself. What makes it even better is that they also told me that I didn't need any work done on the power steering pump at all, since the noise I attributed to the pump was actually due to the worn bearing on my old alte
