OK, so here's what happened today with Elf. Elf went in to Neponset Animal Hospital on January 19, 2013 to be groomed, with possible sedation, because of all his matted fur. The groomer, Gina, who was so nice, tried really hard to get as many mats as possible without sedation, and without stressing out Elf. He had had enough and started to put up a fight so she stopped. Dr. Domit gave him a full exam and read his blood work that I brought along. She felt a mass inside Elf. He was also dehydrated. It was determined that Elf was in no shape to be sedated--he
