Totally screwed up my taxes by not putting in my WHOLE YEAR of income, only my spouses so we had to back pay over $3000 due to this mistake. The year prior I was going to report a loss on my taxes due to $$ I had paid to a business who filed bankruptcy. I was told to file it a year later. Of course the year later came and they told me I should have claimed this loss the year before so therefore with the runaround I received, I lost on claiming over $2800 in loss. My father, who is retired, pretty simple process for tax prep, was all botched up also. O
