I was approved for a refinance on my house for 4.5 months by Bank of America. During that time, they changed business models and committed all resources to first mortgages. They did not tell me and gave me no opportunity to take my business elsewhere. They kept stringing me along. I needed the loan to pay off their credit cards that had interest rates that rose to 35%.
