I recently paid off a loan with Prime Financial Credit Union, only to receive a call a week later claiming that--due an an error on their part--I was not charged interest for nine months. They stated that I was also at fault for not reporting this to them. Apparently, I'm supposed to be a banker and know what they are doing wrong. Rather than go after the idiot that made the account error, they have chosen to target me even though I received a payoff, paid that amount, and, in essence, did nothing wrong.
