I recently brought my car to Apex Transmissions to get a quote for a trans-axle problem. They did an evaluation of the problem while I waited, and quoted me between $2250 - $2700 to rebuild the transmission. They explained the problem and showed me what would be involved. The quoted price was in line with other quotes I had received. They completed the work within the estimated time, and the cost was at the low end of their estimate. About a month later, my regular service provider noticed a leak in the axle seal on the side where the original work was done.
