Bluff Lake Nature Center is in the most surprising of places, tucked between the Stapleton neighborhood, a city prison, and the huge Fitzsimons medical campus. Yet, somehow, it's in the perfect location. Schoolchildren attend science programs daily at Bluff Lake, mothers walk children in their strollers among the soaring cottonwood trees, and evening programs engage visitors. We love going to Bluff Lake. Best of all, it's owned and run by a nonprofit organization - we can all get behind that......
