- Pierian Springs offers accreditation for home schooled students who are interested. While it is not necessary to follow the accreditation guidelines to get into college some home school families have found that accreditation makes it easier to follow the admissions process for Georgia State schools the HOPE scholarship and the NCAA.

- Classes at Pierian Springs are chosen by the student and his parents to complement a home study program. Aside from providing subject area xpertise in the sciences literature and the arts the teachers at Pierian Springs enable students to meet with their peers and engage in dynamic and important discussions and projects.
