Artful Designs is Bloomington’s original “paint-your-own” pottery studio. Personal attention and design expertise are available to customers who wish to paint their own pieces. Custom pottery, painted by Artful Designs’ talented, experienced staff, is also available.  Established in 1999 in owner Wendy Ives’ home, Artful Designs moved to the Illinois Soldiers and Sailors Home in Normal before moving to 502 N. Prospect, Suite 24, Bloomington. The studio has been in its current location, Eastland Square, since 2004. Artful Designs is owned by Wendy Ives, a resident of Bloomington for more than 21 years. Wendy graduated from Albion College with a major in Visual Arts and a concentration in Ceramics. She and her staff regularly attend ceramics conferences and offer their customers the latest, most up-to-date pottery, paints, supplies and techniques.
