The one thing I realized when visiting this food bank, is that you are a person-NOT a number. They don't have any income restrictions and you do not need any form of ID. Here I was all prepared to shared my documentation as I did 20 years ago. I was over prepared to say the least. I remembered finding them on Craigslist and the gentleman called me back saying I just needed a "shared maintenance fee" because they were not funded by the government. This fee helps pay the bills.
