While changing the battery in my watch, the folks at Clock Clinic broke the stem (it would no longer turn at all). The owner got very agitated when I explained that the stem was working fine when I brought the watch in to his shop the previous week. He claimed, quite ardently, that I brought it to him that way - even though his assistant received the watch from me while he was out of town the previous week. $15 to change the battery, and he wanted me to pay him to fix what he (or his employee) broke.
