I have spent many years stopping by Gerik's Ole Czech Bakery in West believing it to be an quaint, authentic Czech bakery. It had become my loyal spot every time I'm passing through from Dallas. My son currently attends Baylor University and has brought home the Baylor Lariat News. It contain an article about this bakery and the owner. In the paper the owner stated the workers are all Czech women who are West residents who have known her for a number of years and are experienced at this craft.
