It took the Letts 4 years to design and build the facility. Mrs. Lett had very definite ideas about what Brides had told her over the years that they wanted in the “perfect” wedding place. The most wanted, dream-come-true thing was a 2 story staircase which would spiral from the Bride’s balcony dressing room and gracefully, flare down to the Chapel center aisle. The Bride’s dad or escort would meet her at the last step & help her off into the aisle. Just like in the Movies! What an entrance! In July 2003, the first wedding took place—a real dream come true. It was a military wedding with the full saber ceremony. When the Bride walked down the staircase and down the aisle to the Groom, he was crying! Wow. It was everything the Letts had wanted for the Bride. Everything was first-class. That’s why it is still a special place to this day! Also, the owners put in extra handicap ramps and took out some curbs, which are not required by the state, because they wanted the entire facility to be handicap friendly for the whole family. For family & friends who cannot attend the ceremony, we now have 5 web-cams in the Chapel to stream-live to their location. The Grandparents think this is really neat !
