BrainCore Therapy provides neurofeedback services for the correction of brainwave imbalance which is associated with many neurological conditions including ADHD, Insomnia, Generalized Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Migraine, Tension Headache, Post Stroke, Chronic Pain, PTSD, Concussion and many others. BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy is a guided exercise for the brain that teaches individuals how to balance their brain wave patterns. It is completely non-invasive with no side effects and, according to the FDA, it is not associated with any negative outcomes. Individuals are hooked to a computer using sensors pasted to the scalp. These sensors do not put any electricity into the brain, they simply read the brainwave patterns coming from the brain. The software automatically detects when the brainwaves are properly ordered and it feeds that information back to the patient. This feedback appears in the form of a game, movie, or sound which signals the patient that the brainwaves are becoming more ordered. the patient may watch a DVD movie that is being controlled by their ability to regulate their brainwaves. For example, if a DVD movie is the feedback, then the movie will get brighter as the brain waves normalize and become darker when they become dysregulated.
