Brief History: Light the Way was founded in 2004 by Cindy Picht and Diane Popiela. Cindy is our Clinical Director and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1999. We treat each individual, couple and family with care and design a plan specifically for them. We do this by designing a plan that fits their goals through individual, couple, family therapy, group therapy, and psycho-educational programs and training. We have begun ecounseling, or telehealth. This means if you are unable to make it to our offices then we can set a plan for you that involves email counseling, phone or video counseling. Who We Are Together our counselors have well over 60 years experience in counseling, working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples and families. Our counselors are well equipped and possess a deep understanding of the mental and emotional pain people and children are exposed to daily. Our counselors possess a wealth of experience, both clinically and in life, including trauma, crisis, abuse, family issues, grief, individual growth, depression, anxiety and many others. We are continually developing methods which are creative and innovative to help bring about positive and healthy results.
