What is "Chito-Ryu" karate? Chito-Ryu is a Japanese martial art designed to strengthen the body, mind, and spirit. It focuses on self defense, self discipline, self awareness and self control, while helping to improve flexibility, strength, and balance. Students will learn the physical, psychological and philosophical aspects of Chito-ryu Karate. Come and explore a well rounded martial art. Our mission at Yoseikan Anderson is to develop strong minds and bodies, while preserving the teachings of Doctor Tsuyoshi Chitose (O-Sensei). Through practicing Chito-Ryu karate, we believe that the character of each individual can be improved. Respect, self discipline, courtesy, patience, and humility are some of the aspects of Chito-Ryu Karate that we strive to perfect. While attempting to achieve thess goals, we will develop excellent training habits, technique and confidence that will last a lifetime.
