Welcome to Little Friends Family Daycare! A locally owned and operated home day care facility right here in Foster City, CA. Welcome to home away from home for your little ones. Owners, Mila and Jovy have been providing quality care for infants and toddlers since 1988. Mila has a nursing degree and Jovy is experienced with child psychology. We are both CPR and First Aid certified and licensed by the state of California to care for 12 toddlers and infants. The child-to-adult ratio is 6-to-1. Daycare license #410507017, www.ccld.ca.gov, and can be easily accessed and verified at that website. Our hours of operation are 8:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday with a few holidays in there. We can go over all of a that at a later date. We would like to tell you more about the educational and interactive features here at Little Friends Family Daycare. We strongly believe that the children should spend a good portion of their day outside. Luckily, our home day care is located in a cul-de-sac and is across the street from a wonderful playground. The play area has slides, swings, and best of all, a huge open space for the children to run and play. We also have age appropriate tricycles, scooters, and bicycles for the children to use. It is so important, in our experience as a licensed daycare, to provide age appropriate toys and riding apparatus’ to allow the children to grow and learn at their pace. We completely understand that not all children grow or learn at the same pace and we cater to the needs and provide infant care and toddler care at the level each child deserves, on an individual basis. Of course all activities are planned for group activities, but we do pay close attention to which child may need more or less attention. Who may need more or less activity. Our exercise activity is designed on a weekly, sometimes even a daily basis and we truly enjoy getting to play and interact with all of the children. We can have some pretty cold weather so during those chilly months, we do find other activities indoors that provide equal physical activities. Our home child care also provides educational toys and learning devices including Legos, alphabet blocks, stacking blocks, link toys, puzzles, action figures, a play kitchen, stuffed animals, just to name a few. Lights, sounds, interactive hands on toys are so important in the cognitive structure of all children.
