Interim HealthCare is part of a national network of home health agencies that has been providing home care services for over 40years. Our locally owned Iowa office has all the licenses and certifications necessary to provide skilled nursing service, including home health aides. We also provide Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Specific services might include working on taking new medications correctly, caring for a wound, helping you regain strength and mobility or other services that will help your recovery process. Our nurses and staff work at the direction of your physician. Services typically start soon after your arrival at home, depending on the urgency of care that`s required. A registered nurse will discuss specifics of when services will start. You`ll receive Interim HealthCare homecare services until your treatment goals are met. All Interim HealthCare staff members are carefully selected for their clinical skills, training, licensure and backgrounds. They are Interim Healthcare employees, supervised by our clinical managers and covered by our insurances. Many of our patients are covered by Medicare, which provides very good coverage for home health services as long as eligibility criteria are met. If you have coverage through an insurance plan, V.A., or Workman`s Comp, we will work with your insurance company to determine their coverage for HH services and will discuss that with you. And, we can provide services on a private pay basis for those services that are needed but not covered. While our caregivers may not be in your home around the clock, Interim HealthCare is on duty around the clock. Nurses are on call for emergencies 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
