Hi, my name is Kent Wilson and back in 2000 my wife Cathy and I opened At Home Furniture in Historic Downtown Albany Oregon. We started it all with a simple dream and a goal in mind: “To offer quality home furnishings and superior customer service at affordable prices.” In the beginning we ran the operation alone, Cathy would watch the store and help customers while I unloaded the freight and made deliveries in my truck. Through perseverance and dedication At Home steadily grew as a business. We are now one of the largest and most respected Furniture Stores in the Willamette Valley. As the demand for fine home furnishings grew quickly our original store was no longer able to hold everything. So we moved to a bigger location at the corner of 9th and Hill. This location gave us a large showroom, more warehouse capacity, and off-street parking for our customers. It was the first location we could truly call our own. Since moving in we have worked to constantly improve our new location. We completely Remolded the existing building and added on an 11,000 Square Foot addition. We also installed new carpet, new lighting, and fresh paint through the entire store. We also redesigned the parking lot for better customer access. We repainted the lot, added new landscaping throughout, and even installed brand new pedestrian pathways. The new location also allowed us to expand our product lines to better serve our customers. We partnered with Brand Source to offer top quality Appliances and Electronics. These brands include Amana, Jenn-Air, Maytag, and Whirlpool. Today we are proud to say that At Home Furniture and Mattresses does business with over 150 furniture, appliance, and electronics manufacturers. In January 2008 we broke ground on a brand new 9,500 Square Foot, on-site, Warehouse. This allows us to quickly and efficiently deliver orders to our valued customers. Every day on our sales floor you can find a dedicated sales staff determined to find just what you need while providing exceptional customer service. You can often find me and Cathy on the floor as well, working directly with our customers. Our customers love the personal service and friendly atmosphere provided by the staff of At Home Furniture and Mattresses. In April of 2011 we made a major expansion to our Mattress selections and our proud to offer top quality mattresses at warehouse pricing. We offer the best selection of mattresses in the valley. In June of 2011 we expanded our commitment to offer the best mattresses at the best prices by opening a second mattress location at 1917 Lancaster Drive in Salem Oregon.
