Sumner Place has been enhancing resident’s lives since 1975. We are nestled in a cozy residential neighborhood called Near South in Lincoln, the state capitol of Nebraska. Near South is an eclectic and thriving area with many remodeled homes and young families. We enjoy weekly visits by students from our nearby Prescott elementary school, who come in for weekly visits during the school year. Sumner Place prides itself on providing resident-focused care, independence and offering a home like atmosphere. We have three wings, and we have a walk out entrance and patio for our Alzheimer residents in the secure Memory Support Unit. We work hard to create a living environment that continuously enriches each resident’s life. Our excellent staff and teams strive daily to serve the resident’s and their family’s needs while maintaining Dignity in Life for all residents, families, visitors and our team of caregivers. Quality care is the first and foremost concern as Sumner Place undergoes an extensive renovation on its’ campus. It is an exciting time for residents and staff alike as the transformations occur, both inside as well as the exterior of the building.
