Roseymary Mickey founded the pet industry in 1984 some 27 years ago in Truckee, California. California Vocational Rehabilitation contacted Rosemary to teach grooming to some of their people a few years ago, because of her longevity and knowledge in the pet industry. This was the start of Mickey's School of Grooming. Mickey's now has graduated many student, from both California and Nevada. Mickey's offers a series of 24 online courses in conjunction with hands on experience, which span 3 months of training. The training you learn is on the AKC group standards of grooming. For example, Poodles, Toys, Working Group, Mixed Group, etc. This is for the aspiring pet groomers. Each course focuses on a specific topics of study and each is designed to take you, step by step, through each process of the pet grooming profession. Upon completion of each course and testing, and your hands on training you, will be on the road to expertise in the world of pet grooming. Mickey's School of Grooming is a 501 (C) (3) Non Profit. Mickey's has student financing, and can place you for immediate employment after graduation. Please call for more details @ 530 550 1170 For pet grooming, cat or dog, use Grooming Appointment tab.
