Developmental Services of Nebraska is a thriving community-based service provider offering residential services, vocational services, intensive behavioral intervention and supports, in-patient residential mental health services, and outpatient mental health services. DSN is dedicated to empowering the people we support to live full, abundant lives. It is this dedication that drives DSN to explore new methods and to set challenging new goals. By stretching ourselves, the people we support, and the community, we come to recognize and appreciate everyone’s unique gifts. DSN strives to help the people we support to fully participate in community life and to expand their social circles. Our goals in this area are intended to support people to become accepted as a valued member of the neighborhood and community. DSN is dedicated to empowering, respecting, and appreciating each person’s individuality as well as each person’s specific aspirations and unique circumstances. It is our role to facilitate the developmental process by providing an appropriate atmosphere where self-expression, self-understanding and personal growth can flourish. Each person is encouraged to participate in the design of their program plans. Objectives are determined by the individual and their support team and are reviewed and updated periodically. DSN dedicates its services to accommodating each individual to the fullest extent possible. Dreams can become a reality with DSN.
