PACE GLASS began in 1992 and was sold to the current owners in 1994. In the beginning PACE Windshield Repair was just that...windshield repair only. It was one of the first windshield repair companies in the area and the only repair company that had the capability to repair cracks up to 18 inches. Eventually the company grew into auto glass replacement. One year at a glass industry trade show the owners discovered the BENEFITS of commercial and residential window films, tried it out for themselves, and have carried their products ever since. As with any business that strives for success and new challenges it expanded into the commercial and residential glass industry. The opportunity arose to purchase custom framing equipment in 2003 and quickly evolved into a new division of PACE Windshield Repair & Replacement. During the Summer of 2006 the owners decided to change the name of the business to PACE GLASS to keep from being thought of as an auto glass shop only. November, 2008 was the beginning of more growth for the company as it opened a 2nd location at 2928 Richmond Road, Texarkana, TX. The focus of that venture was to expand on the artistic possibilities with glass for the home as well as many other custom applications.
