Jim and Barb purchased the Keosauqua office from his father Ralph in 2001 while Nick and Tyler joined in ownership when they combined with Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland in 2010. Barb has been selling real estate and managing offices since 1992 and Jim got his license in 2001. Nick has been practicing real estate since 2004 while Tyler received his license in 2011. Tyler will be managing the Albia office as Nick and Barb manage the Keosauqua and Memphis offices. Tyler’s wife Jenny helps with some of the accounting and Nick’s wife Abby serves as our Marketing Director. With over 40 years of combined experience between the owners alone, combined with our passion for the outdoors, we are assured that we can be the best at making your dreams come true. All of them are licensed real estate agents. Boley Real Estate was started in 1985 with Ralph Boley, Jim’s father, as the Broker/Owner. Jim and Barb purchased the business from Ralph in 2001. Nick began to sell real estate in 2004. He then joined the business in ownership in 2010 when Boley Real Estate partnered with Mossy Oak Properties of the Heartland. Tyler merged ownership in 2010 and obtained his license in January of 2011. Boley Real Estate is very familiar with the southeast Iowa and northeast Missouri market, as principal broker Barb Hendricks Boley has been in the real estate industry since 1992. The Boley family is native to Van Buren County, Iowa. What made the partnership a reality was Nick's passion for the outdoors and recognition of the power of the Mossy Oak Properties brand. The main office is located on First Street in downtown Keosauqua, in the heart of the Historic Villages of Van Buren County in Southeast Iowa.
