NorthStar Works, LLC was first formed in 1988. Beginning with construction, and interior refurbishment, the business remained part-time until 2002. The company was incorporated in the state of North Dakota in October of 2002 as a full time home inspection and home maintenance service provider. We continue to grow as a business thanks to the continued support of many new and regular clients. To them we say, "Thank you!" Our background includes: plumbing, electrical, structural construction, roofing, interior and exterior finish work. We feel these go hand-in-hand with the home inspection process. If you don't know how things go together and work, then how do you know how to inspect it? Rick is a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the International Code Council, International Society of Home Inspectors, and the National Association of Home Builders. He is the only Master Certified Inspector in the state of North Dakota. He has an associates degree in Applied Science and studied architecture at the University of Michigan. He graduated from the American Home Inspectors Training Institute in residence, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 2001. He is also a mold inspector, certified by ProLab Environmental Services of Weston, Florida, a certified indoor air consultant, and is registered with the state of North Dakota to perform radon and mold collection sampling, thus providing a greater range of services and knowledge to our clients. His other activities include city inspector for Larimore and Walhalla ND.
